has absolutely nothing noticably wrong with him! the vet gave him an anti-inflametant and sent him home

hes been eating more today and is still drinking and running about like a thing demented..

now i have to find something ELSE to neurotically worry about..

Rocky isnt well.. he's lost alot of weight in the past week, we thought he was getting better but he just threw up and there was blood.. well, there was no blood in the first lot and he's not in any obvious pain (seems quite happy actually) so mother thinks he may have just scratched his mouth (it could be he had a bit of chicken bone..)

either way i'm terrified he's going to die (aside from having Grace hate me he's also MY cat: he's the one who spends the most time with me these days)

(thats on top of the fact that i messaged my friend Tanya in Nottingham and Katspew this week and neither replied, and Lindsay is as non-communicative as always, and Ben isnt using the bus to get to and from town now and i dont want to meet him for dinner then come home on the bus myself.. and he doesnt seem to be coming out on Thursdays anymore..)

didnt really do anything as i felt blah, but i did win 8 Goblin Bloodbowl players, 4 Necromunda Cawdor Gangers and 1 Cawdor Heavy on eBay.. saving £14 off the RRP! (and another £4 that GW would have charged for postage)

also had a jolly nice convo with my friend Kimberley (in Newcastle, not my other friend Kimberley: http://www.myspace.com/ghumji who hates me now..), she doesnt approve of one of my crushes..

on another note, i've had quite a good day today i found my plaster of paris (blatantly obvious on the corner of the table in my bedroom.. but in my defence i have barely been in there in 2 weeks) and managed to base* all my Vostroyans today AND i managed to assemble the four EPIC* Ork Gun/Battlefortresses AND assemble and base 10 EPIC Space Marine Landspeeders AND assemble 1 plastic skeleton Bloodbowl** player and semi-assemble 3 more AND base the Warmachine*** Khador and Menoth Jacks!

* = cover base in plaster so as to stop it being flat like a bowling green, then dip in a mix of sand and cat litter (the cat litter makes good stones, and the sand looks like, well, sand/rubble/earth)
** = Warhammer (40,000) figures
*** = micro-warhammer 40,000 (6mm tall men instead of 30mm tall)
**** = american football in a tolkienesque medieval world
* = fantasy game (NOT scifi, its 18th-19th century tolkienesque) about 10 foot tall steam powered robots telepathically controlled by wizards..

okay, not only did i have a wierd dream last night.. i had TWO

first one: i recieved 2 parcels in the post.. from Lindsay.. both green carboard folders.. the first was massive and contained 7-9 posters of GW cover art and the second.. actually i think i woke up as i was about to open the second, but for some reason, but it was small, and for some reason Joanne was on the stamp.. i also got a cheque for £1.91 from a guy named Jim with some writing on the back asking for a date..

second dream: i was round Ben & Matthew & Kierans.. Matthew pointed out he had bought Cities of Death (newly released sourcebook for fighting urban battles of warhammer 40,000 ~ matthew hates gaming) and then Codename: CHAVETTE (who was sitting on the couch ~ which had been swapped with the chair next to the window) showed us the cool flying ship she had made (sort of like a flying elven ship from Man O'War?) from some Crossbows and Catapults stuff..

oh and in other news, for some reason Donna said "i dont speak you language" the other day.. (no idea why, i wasnt geeking at her at the time) and then 10 seconds later Alan said "i've found the nut off my tunnel!"

(which i add as he took umbridge at not being mentioned in my last blog)

PS i fixed the hole in my airbed.. but it was still flat by the morning

well its been a wee while so heres another one..

still sleeping in the tent its a BASTARD having to pump up the airbed every night..

hmm, met Benjaminus in town on Thursday.. went to Primark and bought a sort of coffee coloured sheet to use for gaming on (its sort of like the arid earth in the Fallout computer games..), turns out his ex-gf is STILL living with his parents! (she got on really well with his mum apparently, so when her parents booted her out a few months back she moved in there.. i may have damaged Bens psyche by saying "there isnt anything kinky going on there is there?" ), ate at the pub, where there were an aweful lots of females with pretty bums milling around for some reason.. then we caught the bus back to the triangle and walked back here.. (the Close that is, he spent the evening with the ex as his parents were on holiday)

won a few cool (cheap!) things on eBay..

oh and.. people keep talking to me! its highly irregular:
Helena and i have talked on the phone twice in the past 3 weeks
Sabina rang me 2 days after Helena and i last spoke (forgot to ring Helena this weekend as i didnt even realise it WAS the weekend!)
CLARK was actually conversational on MSN the night before last ~ he didnt insult me once!
and.. as if all that wasnt unusual enough.. i talked to Lindsay for an hour and twenty-one minutes on MSN last night! thats got to be in the top 3 longest/most involved conversations we've had online, and certainly the only real proper one this year!

other than that.. still havent painted my vostroyans.. (havent got any sand to base them) ~ oh i got the two officers i wanted, Ben and i popped into GW on Thursday and the first blisterpack on the rack had both the officers i wanted (there are 3 poses, one of them sucks and i already have one having gotten it in the platoon box, their random so i wanted to get the blister from GW to make sure i didnt get any more of him)

demolished the rose bush in the front garden today, generated about 30 cubic feet of cuttings in the process!

aaand thats about it really.. spent most of my time on MSN or playing Fallout

(this being our first exchange on MSN since he invited me to an chat with him and Alex that consisted of both of them doing nothing but insult me)

on the plus side.. we DO have a new kitchen ceiling plus i won a pair of unopened Renegade Legion Cohort boxes on eBay last night! (i've been after some of them for YEARS) ~ at the very least the APCs could possibly be used as proxies for EPIC Chimerae (Bens been thinking of doing an IG army), but i do infact have a copy of Renegade Legion: Centurion so may even wind up using that.. (tho you dont need them for it, it comes with box-counters already)

we've got HOT WATER!!

we havent had any for 2-3 years (been making do with a kettle), but we got a new tank fitted today! (which means we could have started using the upstairs kettle for tea instead of water.. but it seems the workmen purloined the fuse out of it..)

other than that its been a blah day.. bloody hot.. won a copy of Planescape: Torment (PC rpg based on the AD&D Planescape campaign setting.. its quite popular, the last PC computer game magazine i got with a "top 50" games had it at #9, not bad considering the game was at least 7 years old at the time!) on eBay..

managed to deflashify (flash = bits of excess metal on minis) all my Vostroyan platoon, and managed to get them into bases (not all that easy, the tabs are notably bigger than the base slots), shall hopefully paint them tomorrow

ooo, last thursday i won 3 ebay auctions at 8am: The Minrothad Guilds (a BD&D Gazetteer*), The Elves of Alfhiem (ditto) aaaand i also got an 80's looking book entitled "Cities" which had no other bids on figuring "it might have a few useful bits in".. i finally got round to Cities today and.. ITS FRICKIN AWESOME!! 27 random charts for encounters on the city streets, plus a cool system for designing villages and towns and cities (for towns and cities i'll probably just use (FFG/FFE?)'s Cityworks, but i'll definately be using the village system)

well, i'm now XXVI *sobs* in Traveller speak i'm into my 3rd term and still havent managed to achieve anything with my life whatsoever!

on the plus side i DO have a radio controlled Dalek which my mummy bought me for my birthday (which was last Wodens Day)

i was contemplating sitting on the front step and using it to ambush Lindsay or Joanne or Michelle if they came past.. but it was too sodding hot

i also got myself a Vostroyan Imperial Guard platoon box.. which i still havent gotten round to basing as i keep losing my knives, and its too bloody HOT!

sooo.. why the new blog your asking yourself? Danielle is buggering off to Oz in a month, and she has set up a blog her so people can keep tabs on her..

egads its so bloody HOT..
